Bauchi Governor Bala Mohammed has sacked the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Child Development, Hajiya Zainab Baban-Takko, with immediate effect.
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has announced the removal of Hajiya Zainab Baban-Takko, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Child Development, from her position with immediate effect, marking a significant shake-up within the state’s Executive Council. The announcement was made public in an official statement released early Monday by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Mukhtar Gidado.

Similarly, on September 11, the Civil Service Commission announced the dismissal of an education officer for gross misconduct related to sexual harassment, reinforcing the administration’s determination to uphold discipline, accountability, and integrity within the public service.
